About our Medical Practice
The Madison Medical Practice St Ives is an AGPAL accredited Practice growing with and caring for the St Ives and surrounding communities. We are here to care for all your medical needs, so call and speak to our friendly receptionists to book an appointment with our General Practitioners, or book online via health engine for your convenience.
We are a mixed billing practice, meaning we bulk bill directly to Medicare for patients under 16 years and over 70 years for weekday consultations. Patients aged 16-69 who do not have a valid pension or DVA card, will be charged privately. Please see our fees under “Patient Information”.
All patients, irrespective of age, will be charged privately for all Saturday consultations.
The practice offers for your convenience, experienced Registered Nurses who provide many services including immunisations, blood collection, spirometry, ECG’s, infusions (Alcasta and Iron), IV antibiotics, venesection & routine baby heath checks (recorded in child’s blue book) during opening hours. These procedures are supervised by our general practitioners. You can call the practice if you have a query or a question about your health and speak to one of our friendly nurses.
All consulting GPs, Allied Health professionals and medical specialists operate their own medical business through the Madison Medical Practice St Ives in a commercial agreement.
