Dr Amanda Khoris a Specialist Geriatrician dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for older adults.
Dr Khor is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Medical Studies/Doctor of Medicine (BMed/MD) and a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc(Hons)). She completed her advanced training in Geriatric Medicine at Wollongong Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Concord Hospital.
In addition to her private practice, Dr Khor is a Staff Specialist Geriatrician at Mona Vale Hospital, where she provides specialist care to older patients. She also delivers perioperative geriatric care for patients undergoing surgery at Macquarie University Hospital.
Dr Khor developed a passion for geriatric medicine early in her medical career and is committed to delivering holistic, person-centred care tailored to each patient's individual needs. She has a particular interest in healthy ageing, preventative care, maintaining independence, and improving quality of life for older adults. She is also actively involved in geriatric research and enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.
