Dr Chitra Das

Dr Chitra Das is an experienced Medical Practitioner (GP) who graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and received her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017.

She has attained a Diploma in Paediatrics and Adolescent Health from Sydney Westmead hospital, completed advanced surgical training in Skin Cancer Surgery from Bond University Queensland, and attained a Primary Certificate of Menopause and Women’s Health.

Dr Das has special interests in women’s health, paediatrics, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, and geriatric management of chronic disease. Additionally, she performs minor operations such as ingrown toe nail surgery, suturing, removal of foreign bodies and contraceptive IUDs: Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena removal only.

Dr Das strongly believes in continuity of patient care, and provides preventive care with education to her patients, an ethos we both share.

She is a mother of two beautiful young girls and in her spare time, enjoys playing piano.

Dr Chitra Das’ consulting days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fortnightly.
