Registered, Child & Family Health Nurse, Nurse Immuniser & AGPAL Co-surveyor. Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing at The University of Western Sydney in 1992. To complement her skills, she later completed another Degree in Health majoring in Management, Health promotion and Education. Linda has extensive Clinical and Managerial experience within the hospital and community health settings, by leading both clinical and non-clinical personnel, and has been a Mentor to many students over the past 20 years. Linda is a qualified Child and Family Health Nurse and Nurse Immuniser. In 2016 Linda was appointed a AGPAL Co-surveyor enabling her to review and accredit other General Practice facilities to ensure optimum service delivery to all patients across Australia. Linda has extensive experience with babies and prides herself on assisting and educating mothers with their newborns. Linda’s care and devotion to her patients has seen her become a popular Health Care Professional not only within the Hornsby & St Ives Community but the North Shore.

Mags is a Registered Midwife and International Breastfeeding Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and a Member of Lactation Consultants of Australia and New Zealand (LCANZ), International Lactation Consultants Association (ILCA).
She graduated as a Midwife BSC (Hons) in the UK. My experience as a midwife for the past 20 years has come from working at some of the largest teaching hospitals in the UK. She moved to Sydney almost 10 years ago with my family, and for the past 9 years and has been working at Mater Private Hospital as a midwife and more recently as Lactation Consultant and discharge and early follow up midwife.
As a mother of 5 children, including twins, she knows how challenging breastfeeding can be. Her passion for breastfeeding and those early days following birth, has come not only from her own experience but also working with new parents and the challenges that comes with becoming new parents.
Her aim is to support you with any antenatal concerns you may have around breastfeeding and with any breastfeeding challenges once your baby is born. She will provide individualised care, using evidence based practice to deliver the best outcome for you and your baby.
