Gus has been a Doctor for over 17 years and a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2010. Gus is passionate about Patient care, and prides himself on attention to detail and thoroughness. His vast experience in both rural and city communities have given him a greater understanding of people which enhances patient engagement.
Gus has worked in several leading hospitals including the Royal Adelaide and St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney over his career and enjoys teaching the next generation of General Practitioners as a GP Synergy Supervisor. Gus has special interests in Peadatrics, Men’s health, Preventative Medicine and has experience in Aged Care management. Gus is fluent in English and Arabic.
Gagan is a female General Practitioner who graduated from the Government Medical College in Amritsar, India in 1992. After migrating to Australia in 1996 she continued her studies and trained at Prince of Wales Hospital, Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Rozelle Hospitals for many years to expose herself to many areas of patient care to enhance her medical experience. Gagan commenced her General Practice Specialty training at the University of Western Sydney as a part of the “Wentwest” program in 2005. After completing her rural term in Oberon she joined the team at The Madison Medical Practice in 2006 and has been a devoted to the St Ives community ever since. Gagan’s empathetic and extensive experience has seen patients come from all over Sydney, a testament of her commitment to practice holistic medicine. Gagan has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s health, as well as Family Health, Geriatrics and Mental Health. Gagan is fluent in English, Punjabi and Hindi. Her aim as a General Practitioner is to practice medicine where she can provide quality care to all her patients and be available for them when in need.
Dr L Channo has been a Doctor for over 17 years. She worked as in intern at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and trained for 5 years at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in areas of Cardiology, Haematology, General Medicine and Paediatrics while also conducting research for the Woolcock Institute in Respiratory Medicine in areas of allergy and asthma.
She joined General Practice training through the rural pathway in Orange where she took special skills training in Paediatrics at Orange Base Hospital which she thoroughly enjoyed. She completed her General Practice training in 2010 and obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She relocated to Sydney with her family in 2012 where she has been practicing in the North Shore area since.
She also holds a certificate of sexual health and family planning.
Dr. Channo is very caring and thorough in her approach and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s health, Mental health, General Medicine and Preventative Health.
She also performs minor procedures only Implanon insertion and removal.
Lina is a GP clinical supervisor for Sydney University Medical Students.
Michael is a male General practitioner with a vast experience in General medicine. He has worked in many country hospitals by leading emergency and Intensive care departments. His down to earth nature makes him a popular and liked GP. His interest includes all aspects of general practice including travel advice, chronic health management, mental health, paediatrics, emergency care, weight loss and men’s health.
Dr Serena Kaur graduated with a MBBS from Adelaide University in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Serena has special interests in Women’s Health, Perinatal & Paediatric Care and Mental Health. Serena will be consulting on Mondays and Wednesdays at St Ives bringing great experience to the team. Serena is fluent in Malay, Hindi and Punjabi for those patients requiring their appointment in their native language.
